Overview:

In this exciting workshop, children will build confidence as artists by learning how to observe and recognize that all objects, whether natural or man-made, can be captured using basic shapes and lines. Through engaging exercises, they will develop the skills to break down complex objects into simple geometric components, allowing them to create their own artistic representations. This workshop not only boosts creativity but also enhances fine motor skills and spatial awareness, offering children a fun introduction to drawing and observational art.

  • Art Techniques: Children will experiment with using lines and shapes to represent objects, developing their understanding of artistic techniques.

  • Creative Development: By observing and interpreting the world around them, children will develop their creativity, learning how to represent their own ideas through drawing.

Mathematics

  • Geometry: Children will be introduced to simple geometric shapes such as circles, squares, and triangles, helping them develop a basic understanding of geometry in both art and everyday life.

  • Spatial Awareness: This workshop enhances spatial awareness by teaching children how to position and scale objects within their drawings.

Personal Development

  • Self-Expression: Art offers children a way to express their ideas, feelings, and observations visually, helping them to develop their own voice and confidence.

  • Confidence Building: As children work through the process of drawing with basic shapes, they will gain a sense of achievement and confidence in their ability to create.
